the jumbo

This guitar has bass tones to die for but doesn't in any way neglect the rest of a good tonal palette. A great choice for fingerpickers and flatpickers alike. The great Reverend Gary Davis played a similar guitar. Currently I have plans to develop a bass guitar using the same body and with a scale length of 34".

The full size picture is of a Jumbo in American Black Walnut with Bloodwood bindings, while the detail shot shows my standard mitred purflings on a Rosewood and Koa model.
