My name is Rich Pielou, and after graduating with a degree in fine arts from the Nova Scotia College of Fine Art and Design, I have spent almost 30 years in the fine woodwork and guitar building world enjoying the hiss of a sharp handplane and the wonderful aroma of woods. Over the years I've built dulcimers, wooden drums and acoustic guitars. I now have several guitar models, so there's something for every taste. Be it fingerstyle, Travis picking or a woodshed session, there is something here for you.

I've lived on Quadra Island, a northern gulf island on British Columbia's coast for twenty years and I still feel I'm only scratching the surface of what it has to offer: fishing, swimming, mountain biking and idyllic explorations on the coast. Close by, fantastic skiing at the local mountain or in the backcountry. It's no wonder so many creative people choose to live in this special part of the world.
