The first part is the most important, establishing what your needs and wishes are for your new baby! We discuss sound, action, woods, inlays and all pertinent information.

At the commencement of building your instrument I take a 40% deposit on our agreed upon price. When complete I will then require a further 40% before shipping. Finally, the remaining 20% is paid when you accept delivery of your new guitar. Currently the base price for a Rich guitar is $2750 Cdn plus GST. The basic instrument is in Mahogany and comes with a satin finish, Gotoh tuners and Rosewood fingerboard and bridge. The 'Rich' logo is inlaid in the peghead in pearl. Upgrades would be a choice of different woods for back and side, Ebony for fingerboard and bridge and special peghead inlays. Cutaways could be another exciting feature.

Throughout the process we stay in touch. I update you, usually by email, with pictures of your instrument's arrival in the world. Build time at the moment is about 6 months. I also have ready-made instruments and others under construction to choose from.

Warranty

All Rich guitars are covered by a limited warranty. This covers defective materials or workmanship and extends to the original owner for life. I will repair or replace, at my option, the defective part or material. The buyer will cover all shipping charges incurred. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, natural cracking due to extremes in temperature and humidity or damage due to mishandling or neglect.

This is the sole warranty of Rich Guitars, no other written or oral warranty applies.
